Los Ciegos Del Barrio Latin Band from New York City, NY

We are Los Ciegos Del Barrio, a multi genre, bilingual Latin band from New York City. We play Bachata, Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia and Rock in English and Spanish. We play originals and covers. We also cover modern and traditional rhythms as we have the ability to play music from different eras. Thus we can play for all ages. We have played all over the US and overseas, we have played school events, clubs, festivals, community events, corporate functions, private parties, weddings, TV, radio and more. We are called Los Ciegos Del Barrio because we are all legally blind. We are also open to school workshops as we have done many question/answer sessions with students as part of our performances. We've also done individual classroom workshops. We are very easy to work with and will bring energy to every party, or class to the more subdued formal events. Because we all play multiple instruments, we have the flexibility, if you wish, to play with 3, 4, 5 or 6 members. We will not disappoint.
