THE SIERRA GOLD BAND Richard Baca and Sierra Gold is a five member variety band from Pueblo, Colorado and are known as the "Small Band With The Big Sound" and for it's affordable quality variety music throughout the state of Colorado, northern New Mexico, western Kansas, southern Nebraska and southern Wyoming. Armed with an extensive song list covering Tex Mex and New Mexico style music (Rancheras, Cumbias, Boleros, Valses, Corridos, and Polkas), Country classics from the 50's, 60's, 70's to the present and 1950's Oldies. Sierra Gold is a surefire crowd-pleaser and a perfect choice for your entertainment needs. Sierra Gold has performed for Weddings, Fairs, Conventions, Concerts, Corporate Events, Outdoor Festivals, Mountain Ranch Parties, Fraternal Organizations and Night Clubs. The group consists of five male vocalists, Richard Baca lead and backup vocalist as well as lead and rhythm guitar. Moses Sotelo, lead and backup vocalist as well as bass guitar, keyboards and alto sax. Nathan Coca, lead and backup vocals as well as accordion, tenor sax and keyboards. Dannie Lucero, lead and backup vocals as well as lead and rhythm guitar and bass guitar. Rodney Ortiz, lead and backup vocalist as well as drums. They are able to take requests and learn any particular song you may need for your event or party. They have 5 CD releases on the Sierra Gold label of cover music and are currently working on a CD release of original music. Sierra Gold has performed, and are available throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming and Texas.
