MAMBO BLUE LATIN BAND NEW YORK. Mambo Blue is a New York City's premier Tropical/Latin Band capable of playing all Latin Music styles. Playing Salsa, Bachata, Son, Cumbia Mambo, Chachacha and Merengues among other rhythms , the band have performed for thousands of dancers all across the tri-state area. Mambo Blue is arguably one of the busiest NY Latin Bands. In addition to playing in private events, Mambo Blue has been featured at venues such as NYC's Summer Music Festival, Tito Puente Restaurant, Hotel Plaza, Rainbow Room, Copacabana Club, The Museum of Modern Art NY, Museum of Natural History NY, Water Club, Four Seasons, Capitale, Placido Domingo Restaurant, Waldorf Astoria, Union Club at Park Avenue, Cipriani, Mandarin Oriental and The Hamptons. Mambo Blue have performed for President Bill Clinton, Supreme Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor; Actor Dan Aykroyd, Actress Meryl Streep and the Governor Mario Cuomo (Father) and more recently at The Rockefeller Residence Estate just to mention a few highlights of their remarkable shows. Mambo Blue was the backup band for The Salsa star Oscar de Leon at Capitale on a very successful night to be remembered by everyone including Linda Evangelista, Eva Mendez, and Fernando Botero just to drop a few names. Recently ,the Mambo Blue band have been featured in several episodes of the popular TV show "My fair Wedding" with David Tutera at the We channel. We are a tropicool Band ! PLEASE READ SOME OF OUR REVIEWS: "As an educator of 10 years, musician of 15 and lover of music for as long as I can remember, I can honestly say it was an absolute pleasure to have Mambo Blue Latin Band at our event. From the moment I first connected with Jose over the phone he was kind, courteous, genuine, easy to talk with and helpful. We went back and forth over phone and email for the next number of days and it became clear that whatever I needed for the event, Jose and the band could pull it off. We went with a 4 person band with music focusing on a variety of world styles. They arrived in a timely manner, setup all their equipment with ease and were ready to being playing at the agreed upon time. The night went off without a hitch - they played two sets of music (the first 45 minutes and the second 30). I am glad we changed our minds from the original plan and made them the center attraction for much of the event because everyone centered around them anyway! Students were dancing and having a great time while the adults sat back and enjoyed the great music. At the end of the night, cleanup went quickly and the band expressed their gratitude for being part of the evening. Each member was positive, kind and seemed to have a good time themselves. Following the event, I can't tell you how many people commented about the band and what a wonderful evening it was. Jose was exceptionally communicative and easy to work with. He asked questions to truly understand the experience we wanted for the evening. As a small nonprofit that provides cancer support to patients and their families, we really wanted this to be special evening for our members to come together and have fun. Mambo Blue did not disappoint! They immediately got everyone up and dancing. The energy in the room was incredible and felt by all in attendance. Both Jose and the singer were engaging and made people want to be a part of the fun. Everyone left smiling from ear-to-ear! I highly recommend the Mambo Blue Band!
