Los Angeles Mambo All-Star Orchestra Latin Band from Hollywood, CA

The Los Angeles Mambo All Star Orchestra celebrates and preserves the cultural heritages of Latin Big Band Music, Mambo and Latin Jazz. By enriching and engaging the communities through performances we assure the survival of this great Latin and American Jazz art form. From a small group to its full-blown 20 piece orchestra, The Los Angeles Mambo All Star Orchestra excites, and entices all who are listening to partake in its magical blend of LatinMusic (Afro-Cubano, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Mambo, Samba,and Latin Jazz). Musical Director and founder Bobby Chávez develops musical "shows" for many engagements. He insures the quality and authenticity of each style of music to be played according to the request of the intended audiences. In addition to performing and arranging the music played, he researches, develops, writes and narrates programs; such as, " A Tribute to the Mambo and Perez Prado," " A Tribute to the Music of The Big 3 (Tito Puente, Tito Rodriguez and Machito)" and "The Development of the Big Band Era."
