Joanna Horton McPherson Motivational Speaker from Phoenix, AZ

My name is Joanna Horton McPherson. I'm a Harvard-trained 6x business owner, global non-profit founder and former acting coach. I currently serve as the President-Elect for the National Association of Women Business Owners chapter in Phoenix (NAWBO). I am also a certified and accredited impact investor, mother, meditation guide, and poet. I live in Costa Rica and on an island in Maine part of the year, in addition to calling Phoenix home. I love to share how successful people create success for others. My current talk is called "You are the Golden Egg." It's geared toward understanding ourselves better so we can communicate and connect more authentically. We are all sitting on some serious gold. Everyone of us has a genius to us. I truly believe that, no matter how tapped in a person is to their kind of genius. Research shows there are at least 7 forms of intelligence, many of which are undervalued like spatial and kinetic (Harvard study). As a transformative branding coach, my job is to help people discover what that golden egg is. It’s really your value - and your value is YOU. I talk about: 1) Knowing ourselves - from childhood passion to adult "flow state." 2) Knowing our story - the defining moments in our life that we came through often contain insights and lessons that helped us be successful today. 3) Knowing our purpose - we must know what matters to us to feel like we matter. We carry our values and purpose with us all the time, but don't always take the time to see how we're living up to them. Until we know how inspiring we truly are, we forget that we all carry the "golden egg." Getting clear in our value can change everything.
