Big Poppa & Friends - My real name is Phil and I play keyboards and I am a singer and songwriter. I have been in the music industry for over 40 years. Big Poppa & Friends can be a solo act (Phil) or a duo/trio. With three players and using "tracks" we can develop a full band sound and performance. There are a number of musicians and singers that I work with who are very talented and we can service the needs of your club, venue, party, wedding, or celebration. We have excellent sound equipment and musical instruments. We also have a lighting system available (i.e. light trees or truss with moving head lights). Big Poppa & Friends covers music in the Blues, R&B, Soul, Motown, Country, & Classic Rock Genres. Light Jazz and Dinner Music is in our game plan. We love to see people dancing and we love to get people involved with the band. To put it simple, we love to play music! We will create a plan to service your event with the number of players, equipment, hours of play, song list, lights and of course keeping everything within your budget. We can even provide your event with a dance instructor for a short dance lesson during the evening. Our minimum quote is $300.00 for Big Poppa (solo). Generally, this is for 2 hours, possibly 3 hours. We can offer the host facility a Certificate of Insurance if needed. As we said earlier, We Love To Play Music!
