The Julie Mack Band is a jazz and Brazilian band led by the versatile vocalist Julie Mack. Their signature blend of jazz and American Songbook standards, and samba and bossa nova rhythms of Brazil create a swinging, swaying, happy and classy atmosphere at every event where they perform. Julie is a charismatic and natural performer praised for her ability to connect with her audience, who will work with you to ensure that the Band tailors its sound and repertoire to make your event exactly what you envision -- and hear! Drawing from the DC area's finest musicians, the Band can range from a duo with voice and guitar, keyboard or upright bass, to a trio, quartet or larger group with or without drums and horn, depending on your needs. The Julie Mack Band has performed at private events ranging from parties in private homes for 20 - 50 guests, to association dinners and cocktail parties for 75 - 150+ guests. The Band can provide music for ceremonies, background music and music for swing, samba or ballroom dancing, and will learn special requests for your event.
