Live Jazz To Elevate Any Event! The Secret Jazz Band creates a unique, upbeat & classy atmosphere for your event by performing an authentic mix of Classic Jazz Standards, Big Band Swing & Bossa Nova. A perfect fit to complement event themes such as 1920's Great Gatsby, Old Hollywood & the Speakeasy Clubs of the stylish 'Jazz Age.' The band can keep it background for cocktails & mingling or liven up the dance floor if that is where your party wants to go! Past venues include the world famous House of Blues, The Queen Mary & The Catalina Jazz Club. WE PROVIDE: -Full sound system & accent lighting -Microphone for toasts -Background DJ music during breaks -General Liability Insurance (COI) ABOUT US: Katie Harris (Singer/Bandleader) and her husband Tom Brayton (Drums), the founders of The Secret Jazz Band, have been performing for events throughout Southern California and beyond for over a decade. As celebrated artists, they have worked as studio musicians, touring performers, and, of course, as a Jazz ensemble for events of all sizes. This varied experience helps them to adapt to any style of venue, offering an adaptable service for every client. By getting to know their clients in advance of the milestone, The Secret Jazz Band is able to tailor their approach every time. Ultimately, their aim is to please with their musical displays. As such, they can perform at BIRTHDAY PARTIES, CORPORATE EVENTS, FUNDRAISERS, WEDDING CEREMONIES, COCKTAIL HOURS, RECEPTIONS, AND MORE. Adapting their sound to suit each occasion, they love producing a range of different ambiances. As their name suggests, they are adept at performing Classic Jazz Standards. Still, they can also do justice to many other genres including Bossa Nova, Big Band Swing, and Soul. Katie’s dulcet tones provide a delightful accompaniment to the accomplished musicianship of the band so that invitees can savor the day with a dance.
