Leah Hinton Jazz Singer from New York City, NY

NYC - based artist Leah Hinton, Jazz snd Soul artists, Berklee College of music graduate and 2018 Jazz Act of the Year nominee for the New England Music Awards has been performing, teaching music, writing and has collaborated with artists such as Valerie Simpson, Peter Collins, Kennedy Administration, Binky Griptite and J.C. Hopkins and his Biggish Band. Her music is available on all purchasing and streaming platforms. Her sound is Jazz influenced music that brings you Neo-Soul vibes with a positive message about love and life. She also has a Sunday weekly internet radio show, 'Sweet Sounds' aired on EAJ1023radio.com. Originating from Henderson, North Carolina, she grew up singing in school, church, community choirs and studying music and instruments grew her love for and knowledge of different styles of music. She always had a fondness of jazz and soul music starting at a young age, as her father would play Jazz and Motown music on the radio. Going on to perform in some of the top NYC venues she also enjoys being involved in community events and giving back. It is very important to her to help others as many have helped her.
