Robert Stone Jazz Quartet from Bryn Mawr, PA

My goal for all performances is for the listeners to enjoy themselves. This I achieve by working with experienced, solid musicians. The musicians I select to play with me are first of all reliable and professional in appearance, have good manners, and are hard working. My music is not overbearing so that listeners can't carry on a normal conversation or have to yell to hear each other. At the same time, our music is energetic and will make the party lively and even encourage dancing. I have been performing with a variety of bands in many fields, such as jazz, top forty, weddings, bar mitzvahs, restaurants, clubs. My repertoire is varied but with my jazz quartet I concentrate on standards. I can perform wedding ceremonies on the flute w/piano, play the cocktail hour with piano and saxophone. I can play the clarinet on horas for jewish events. I can expand my group to include trumpet, trombone, vocals, latin percussion. Also we can alternate with a DJ and play during the cocktail hour and dinner set. I have many references from satisfied clients, over the years, that I would be glad to furnish upon request.
