The Greg Jacobs Quartet Jazz Band from San Francisco, CA

Greg Jacobs is a jazz pianist and band leader residing in Oakland, California. Greg grew up in the Bay Area and started playing piano as a young child. He has been performing full-time since 2013 and has performed at festivals such as the Healdsburg Jazz Festival, the Fillmore Jazz Festival, and the Half Moon Bay Jazz and Wine Festival, as well as at many premier Jazz venues in the Bay Area, including the SFJAZZ Miner Auditorium, Blue Note Napa, Club Deluxe, Mr. Tipples Recording Studio, the Black Cat, and Bird And Beckett. Greg’s band’s repertoire encompasses a broad swath of the spectrum of jazz music, spanning from blues, the Great American Songbook, swing and bebop through to hard bop, post-bop, modal jazz, the Avant Garde, and also includes Afro Cuban and Brazilian styles as well as funk, soul, contemporary jazz, and his own original music.
