JazBluEtc Jazz Duo from Austin, TX

Dan and CM enjoy jazz standards and traditional blues from the 20's to the 60's. Dan uses the guitar styles made popular by the masters, and CM loves the chance to wrap her voice around the songs that continue to charm. This husband and wife team has been performing together for over 10 years. Both bring experience from various genres of music and have performed in settings ranging from intimate living rooms to large music festivals and points in between. They admire such legends as Ella & Joe, Tuck & Patti, and João & Astrid. Dan and CM can provide a great ambience for a brunch, cocktail party, or other event of your choosing. They will bring their equipment and delight with titles such as “But Beautiful,” “You Don't Know What Love Is,” “Embraceable You,” and “My One and Only Love.” They also enjoy R&B favorites such as “Please Send Me Someone to Love,” and blues tunes like “Help the Poor.” Dan Crowe has 40+ years of experience playing guitar in various settings from rock to blues to jazz to fingerstyle Celtic music. CM Marihugh started singing in a trio with her sisters very early, primarily gospel and then folk. She sang classical with choirs in the past, but her love is of jazz, blues, and R&B.
