Tianna Hall is a Grammy-recognized vocal powerhouse based in Houston, Texas. As the charismatic bandleader and vocalist for The Houston Jazz Band, The Texas Jazz Band, Mighty Pretty Mixtape, and The Houston Jazz Band Orchestra, Tianna is the most sought-after jazz singer in Texas, collaborating with the region’s premier instrumentalists. A distinguished alumna of the University of Houston, Tianna majored in Vocal Performance and enjoyed a successful career in musical theatre and opera before dedicating her talents to jazz. She was mentored by Duke Ellington Orchestra pianist Marsha Frazier and the renowned composer, arranger, and jazz pianist Paul English, who were instrumental in shaping her illustrious jazz career since 2004. Tianna’s recent performances have captivated audiences at prestigious events and venues, including headlining the Candlelight Concert series with The Houston Jazz Band, opening for jazz legend Jane Monheit at The Heights Theater, and gracing stages at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Minute Maid Park, Robertson Stadium, and Jones Hall.
