A premier Portland jazz band, The Little Big Band plays great speakeasy style swing jazz music in the gypsy style of Django Reinhardt. Led by singer and multi-instrumentalist Josh Gilbert, we are available as a trio for small events, or as a quartet with a bass player for larger events. We specialize in music for weddings, and have many years of experience making weddings easy and fun. Our music is great for dinner and dancing and is very family friendly. We also offer special packages for ceremony music, including flute & guitar or vocal performance. Our repertoire is a mixture of American jazz standards, French songs of the 30s and 40s, some Brazilian Bossa Nova, and some surprises. The Little Big Band is a great Portland wedding and special event jazz band. No matter the occasion, we will bring the swing!
