My wife and I booked The Kareem Kandi Band for our wedding reception in August. Kareem and the band were wonderful throughout the entire process -- extremely professional, responsive, accomodating, and easy to work with. The music itself was one of the highlights of the entire event, with guests coming up to us all night to tell us how much they were enjoying it. If you are considering having live music at your special event, I could not recommend The Kareem Kandi Band highly enough!

Kareem played our wedding and was great to work with. He and his trio-mates were professional, friendly, and very talented. We had a rough idea of what we wanted for music during cocktail hour and Kareem and co. played it beautifully with little input. Several times, I took a break from greeting guests to simply enjoy the band. We also had Kareem play us out of the ceremony and he modified the song we selected for the ceremony, fitting it in perfectly for tempo and dynamic range, again with little input. All around cool cats, I will catch them live whenever I can!

Perhaps the best choice we made for our wedding. Everyone LOVED the performance. Kareem proactively worked with us and the venue manager to help make the occasion as perfect as we could imagine. Kareem and his bassist were incredibly professional! They arrived ready to go and provided a delightful ambiance from the moment they started playing. They are skilled jazz musicians and I would hire them again for any event.

We booked the Kareem Kandi Band for a recent community event in Tacoma. He and his band mate were incredibly professional and had great communication through the booking process. Everyone enjoyed the music and it definitely elevated the atmosphere at the event. I can't recommend Kareem enough and will book again for future events.

We needed a band that could play acoustically at our wedding due to restrictions at our venue. And Kareem was very accommodating and came up with a jazz trio that didn't require amplification. We also had some pretty specific requests for songs that touched our hearts, and the band really delivered on every song. Once they started playing, the music really set the mood and eased our nerves as the bride and groom. And they played for hours and hours, with only short breaks in between. After the reception many of our guests as well as passersby commented on how much they enjoyed the live jazz. This is truly a talented group! I would HIGHLY recommend this band.

My husband and I were so happy to have the Kareem Kandi Band play at our wedding reception. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their rates were for how popular they are in the Tacoma/Seattle area. Kareem was so easygoing and professional, and of course plays incredible jazz.

I had heard the Kareem Kandi Band, myself, years ago and really enjoyed them. So I was delighted to find out that I could hire them for a private event. Unbeknownst to me, this band was a favorite of several attendees at my event. They are exceptionally talented, and are capable of playing anything requested (except Lynerd Skynerd, I was told.) I highly recommend them. KIm
