The Jazz Phools are a group of six Tampa Bay musicians devoted to the energetic performance of hot jazz of the 20's & 30's, Dixieland & New Orleans jazz, and swing standards - all delivered with vintage flair. Dancers delight in the stylistic diversity of the band. Improvisation and the interplay among The Jazz Phools members makes the music come alive with spontaneity and excitement. The Jazz Phools set themselves apart from other bands in their stylistic versatility and ability to adapt to your particular event: Speakeasy, Prohibition, Gatsby Elegance, Mardi Gras, New Orleans, Swing Dance, Big Band, Smooth Jazz, Straight Ahead Jazz or a combination of everything! Check out our extensive song list. You can tailor our repertoire and the size of the band to your event and budget, from 3 to 8 musicians including a wonderful female vocalist.
