The Sac-City Little Big Band is a small jazz orchestra consisting of 6 horns, rhythm section and vocalist. We offer packages ranging from trios to the full complement of players. Members of the band are among the top instrumentalists in the Sacramento area. A little big band gives you the big band sound with the flexibility of a small group. Sac-City LBB plays big band jazz, latin jazz, jazz standards, vocal jazz, jazz funk as well as modern pop tunes that have been rearranged into jazz tunes.

Sac-City Little Big Band is the best! While things started rocky in terms of communication just after booking the band, the end result was so worth it! We knew we wanted a live swing style band and Rob and the members were just the right fit. During the cocktail hour, instrumental versions of Disney songs as well as classics. And during the dinner they were great in making sure our entrance song was ready, were able to play our first dance song as well as mother/son, father/daughter song as well. They also knew to keep those dance songs to shorter versions without having to be asked. Overall, the band sounded great and made our whole vision come together.

We hired Rob and the band for my wife’s birthday party. It was basically cocktails, then a sit down dinner, followed by some light dancing. The band accommodated our needs perfectly throughout the whole evening. I think all of our guests commented on how good they were, well done guys! We had 5 of the band and will definitely be hiring all 10 of them for a bigger event! Great job all round. Steve Fullard
