Rob Barnes Band Jazz Band from Lexington, KY

My band plays jazz- everything from the old classics to jazz versions of current pop songs. I am blessed to work with people in my band who are the best musicians in Kentucky. It has been a joy to continually play jazz music for the people of the region at events such as weddings and parties. The reactions we get make it worth it- we always get people dancing and having fun, and that's what it's all about to me. Fun! Also, we can play really soft so people can relax and have conversation while enjoying the music which subtly creates a nice atmosphere. In addition to the classic jazz and jazzy pop tunes, we can do some fun, tropical music for a beach or island themed party, or Christmas tunes for your Christmas party. We can do song requests if you tell me in advance. We can also play music on an iPod during breaks (usually I ask for a 15 minute break for the band but those details can always be worked out.) I always have my guys dress nice unless an occasion is particularly casual.
