The Nite Hawks - Jazz, Swing, Jump & Blues Before rock 'n' roll took over popular music in the 1960s, the radios and record players jumped with songs from some of America's greatest composers from the early swing era of the 1920s through the jazzy pop tune era of the 1950s. The Nite Hawks specialize in swing, jazz, jump and blues from composers like George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin to songs performed by the likes of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles. Our repertoire is includes tunes DANCING... not just swing, but foxtrots, cha-cha's, rumbas, waltzes... and even the Charleston.
