About Vendor
Learn more about this vendor for your event.
Meta Rose Art & Business is the booking and marketing agency for bands and musicians. Once our artist(s) are booked, we market them with flyers, articles and videos. Not only does this enhance the visibility of artists, it places the venues in which they are performing, in the "limelight." Private venues however, are managed in consultation with employers and treated with the utmost respect, finesse and privacy as required. Cocentration is given to weddings, birthdays, clubs, festivals, corporate and private events. Our goal is to "book and please" both artist(s) and employer(s). Our artists are professional, highly-skilled musicians with "live performances" and music played locally, nationally and internationally. Additionally, although our area is the Detroit Metropolitan Ares, we place bands worldwide. No distance it too far. "The Duane Parham Society" is an example of who and what we do. Parham is a smooth jazz artist whose career spans many decades. He is recognized as an innovator, visionary and top performer in Smooth Jazz, R&B and Gospel Music. Most of us remember his "Detroit City is Coming Back," a song that reaches across racial, ethnic and political lines, and promotes the Motor City nationally and internationally. To accomplish this goal, Producer Parham assembled over 200 outstanding musicians, whose sole purpose was to record and proactively offer the song as a musical way to lift the spirit of Detroit, promote citizen awareness, unity, and help the city move forward. Prior to that, he delivered a Mo-Jazz tribute to Motown Records with a CD entitled Motor City Sax Appeal: My Tribute to the Motown Legends, with guest appearances by The Four Tops, The Miracles, The Contours, The Original Vandellas, Pat Lewis, Carolyn Crawford and five-time Grammy award winner Michael J. Powell. Producers of the CD were Carl “Butch” Small and Maurice Whitsett. He continues to "dazzle' audiences in some of Detroit's most popular jazz clubs: Cliff Bells, Bakers Keyboard Lounge, Aretha's Jazz Cafe and Dirty Dog jazz Cafe. Meta Rose Art & Business says, "Let's get started. Your business is our business."
