Hello Jazz lovers! We are Jazz Trax Band, playing contemporary smooth jazz with a little funk mixed in. Some of our favorite artists are Boney James, Herbie Hancock, Brian Culbertson, Larry Carlton, Jimmy Smith and the likes. Comprised of 5 musicians playing Sax, Keys, Guitar, Bass and Drums we are able to bring a full quality sound without the xtra volume that some bands can bring. We are currently playing a restaurant / bar type of venue and have gotten great reviews for song choice, quality of play and just being a friendly group of guys. . . I booked Jazz Trax for our wedding weekend and they did a fabulous job! Led by Sal DePasquale, Jazz Trax played smooth cool jazz, traditional jazz, as well as funk, soft rock, R&B – the perfect blend of music to both dance to and listen to. They’re very skilled musicians with a diverse repertoire, cooperative to work with and were a big asset to our wedding weekend.
