J Train Music Jazz Band from Bethesda, MD

J Train is a versatile, highly experienced band that has played at many venues in the Washington, DC metro area. We work closely with our clients to ensure that they get the musical experience that perfectly complements their special occasion. The jazz trio provides sophisticated background music, and the quartet with our polished male vocalist performs a wide repertoire from jazz standards to rock and R and B hits from the 60s and 70s. If your event calls for dancing, we’ve got the right tunes at the right tempos. The band prides itself on its professionalism. For smaller settings we can provide solo piano or guitar or piano/bass or guitar/bass duos. We also offer two special one hour trio tribute shows. One - vocal, piano and bass - is a Frank Sinatra tribute. It’s all Sinatra tunes with some narration as well. The second - sax, piano and bass - is “Sounds of the Sixties”. This show includes some early American rock, the “British invasion” rock, Motown and other crossover music, bossa nova from Brazil, and popular hits from the silver screen’s most popular films on the 1960s. These trio tributes are usually priced at $750.
