Dizzy With a Dame brings old Hollywood Glamour to your event. We are an homage both to the great small jazz groups of the swing era such as the Benny Goodman Sextet, Count Basie's Kansas City Six, and Artie Shaw's Gramercy Five, and the "girl singers" of the same era such as Helen Ward, Martha Tilton, Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Helen Forrest. Dizzy With a Dame has played over 100 shows in four states. Dizzy With a Dame also explores the show tunes of Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Lerner and Loewe, Harold Arlen, Rodgers and Hart, and, Irving Berlin with the same infectious swing groove as the classic swing tunes. Dizzy With a Dame would love to play your swing dance, wedding, corporate party, art fair, gallery opening or any other event that needs a little swing!

Mark and the team were excellent. The preparation and organized nature of this band makes them an easy pick when pulling off an event. They were so good at playing background for the beginning of the dinner and then stepping out and playing a concert. Humble kind. I listened to 102 acts and selected them and I was not disappointed. We will likely use them again.
