Danny Davis Jr Project Jazz Band from Cincinnati, OH

We play contemporary jazz (feel good music) and are available as a standard 4 piece or jazz trio band. We have a vocalist when needed, but primarily perform as an instrumental band. As a protégé of Norman Brown and Frank Gambale, Danny Davis Jr and Project play upbeat, feel good jazz as opposed to the style where everyone solos for an extended amount of time over the same chords. We find that boring and never want to bore you. Our goal is to please you, entertain you and make you feel good. In addition to contemporary jazz, we also add Spanish and Latin music. The style of music is similar to Norman Brown, George Benson, Fourplay, and Larry Carlton. We humbly are consistently told that we are the best band the customer site has had. Due to the fact that we play upbeat music, play at a good volume so that people can talk while listening, and the band members are all great people that share a love for music. Many of our songs are popular songs played from our take and twist in a jazz style. (Taylor Swift songs, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, James Taylor, etc., all played in a unique contemporary jazz or Spanish feel.) Past experiences include wineries, corporate events (include Joseph Beth Booksellers, Honeywell-Intelligrated) , private parties, hotels, Hard Rock Casino, country clubs, golf courses, city outdoor concerts, headlining concert and as an opening act.
