Cris Barber Jazz Band Reviews

As my bride and I first arrived aboard the Queen Mary Ballroom the first comment made to me by one of my close friends were "Where did you find that Jazz Band, they're amazing"? Cris Barber was such a sweetheart the whole band was very professional when it came to performance. The ambience in the Queens Salon ballroom was beautifully set and had a friend of ours as the only performance for the night. But the fact that the band did such a great job from beginning to end our guests never noticed how short the reception was. They came a close second place to my beautiful new wife as the highight of the night. Alain & Leslie

Cris Barber was awesome. We were very pleased with their performance. They came on time although it rained hard that day and traffic was terrible. Our guests were very delighted with the kind of music they played. We ended up having the party inside our house but their music was not overbearing. It sounded like we were playing a CD and not a live band. Cris BArber is excellent, her voice is very captivating, relaxing and never forceful. This is the kind of entertainment you would get for discriminating guests. I received a lot of praises from our guests and I would certainly recommend them. They wouold definitely be my entertainers for all our parties, no doubt.

The Cris Barber Jazz Quarter were wonderful to work with. They were very professional, very courteous, and gave a very good performance which we all enjoyed immensley. At a time that I was personally very busy and could not give my attention to every detail of what was going on, it was good to know that I had a band that I could count on to be there when the promised and play a good set without a lot of micromanagement on my part. Booking the Cris Barber Jazz Quartet was a great experience for us, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a jazz band to play their event. Thanks to Cris and company for making our special day even that more special.

All the guests loved the music. Cris was so accomodating and even learned a new song just for our wedding! The band was amazing and we would recommend them over and over again.

Cris Barber, you are fabulous! The musicians are awesome. I can't say enough. I am SO VERY HAPPY that we hired the Cris Barber Jazz Quartet. They are fun, play wonderful music and are so easy to work with. We would definately recommend them to anyone looking for a truly great jazz band. Hire them while you still can.

Hi - I'm thrilled to write that Cris Barber was the consummate professional singer, arriving well ahead of time and being completely set up and performing right on time. The quality of the music and her band was first rate, no real surprise that she won an award. Her backup band were all experienced and terrific players in their own right. They all sounded incredible together and it looked like they were all having a really good time playing at the party, which made a very good impression. Cris' singing voice is one of the best I've ever heard live, and was exactly like she sounded on the web site (I've hired a band before who sounded NOTHING like they did on their demo, so this was a very pleasant surprise). She's fun, smooth and always smiled at the guests, even helping one of them who must have looked a little lost. She's a real professional and won over the entire party with her charm and enthusiasm -- which made my wife and I look really good as well! ;-) I'd hire her again in a heartbeat! Thanks Cris! Steve

We are thrilled with the Cris Barber Jazz Band. They were so professional and amazing. AWESOME! I couldn't believe they were playing in my house. I was really looking forward to having the band for my 50th Birthday party and they went beyond my expectations. Our guests loved them. We loved them. Cris has a GREAT voice and the whole band just rocked. Very charismatic and unbelievably great players. Plus they were all so friendly too. My wife Tracy was a little hesitant about spending the money for a live band for the party but afterward said that they were worth every penny. So when they are famous I can say they played at my house! I know that Cris has a lot of new fans!!
