Carol Ma Acoustic Band from New York City, NY

Carol, versatile professional violinist crossing multiple genres. Also plays piano and viola. Have performed in productions such as “Cats”, “Oklahoma”,“The Phantom of the Opera”, “Westside Story”,“ Mame”,and “Kings”, “Kalevala”. Recorded for more than 15 albums, which range from classical, jazz, pop, hiphop, folk, Christian contemporary, Country. Have been filmed on Bronx local channel, Fox news, and Hooplaha, interviewed by the largest hiphop station for beat 1 from Apple Radio, performed for Cooper Square Festival, Taiwan excellence, live performance with singer Rihanna, opended for Cyndi Lauper, solo for Nike new sportswear line launch. Carol and the City Strings are formed by some talented string players who graduated from the major conservatories and universities throughout the United states. We provide services from solo acts, string duo, trio, quartet, and quintet ensembles(it can be mix matching with string adding bass and percussion(cajon). Our Repertoires are from classical, pop, hip-hop to jazz. We were invited to perform at NY Times auditorium, Queens college, Vanderbilt Hall, Radio City Hall, the Blue Note, MET museum, Merkin Hall, Carnegie hall, Lincoln Center and many major events, functions, wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties, and educational classes. Upon request, we do special string , and percussion arrangements. In addition to the Carol and the City Strings, we also have violin with rhythm sections (piano/guitars, bass and drum/cajon) with wide range of selections of styles.
