Avant Groove is a jazz trio featuring smooth tenor saxophone, crisp jazz guitar/bass and thoughtful piano. If you’re looking for a cocktail jazz ambiance, Avant Groove can provide soft Latin rhythms and beautifully arranged American Songbook classics to give your event a sophisticated feel. Or the group can get the crowd on their feet with raucous swing music. Avant Groove has been a mainstay in the DMV for years, performing at parties, fundraisers and other events. No matter what flavor of jazz your event requires, Avant Groove will make the occasion spectacular! Note: The group can perform as duo or quartet by request. Nick (saxophone), Russell (piano) and Noah (guitar/bass) make up the core of Avant Groove and are each veteran musicians who have played alongside Grammy-winning musicians.
