Northern Fried Jam Band from Boston, MA

Northern Fried is one of the jammiest and rootsy bands in New England. Working with our clients we create groovy music backdrop, or a rocking sing along built with a combination of guitar, slide guitar, piano and organ, a tight rhythm section consisting of bass, drums and percussion with multi-part vocal harmonies to cultivate the Northern Fried vibe for their fun time. Occasionally we have one of our favorite Sax players sit in as well. Our music is a combination of R&B, classic and southern rock, mixed with a tinge of New Orleans funk, traditional blues and reggae for flavor. Blue eyed soul meets black eyed peas in a joyous, musical mashup. Think Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, The Band, Doobie Brothers, and Little Feat, blended with Stevie Wonder and The Meters, DMB, Hall and Oats, Phish and Steely Dan. Together for more than 20 years the band has performed countless weddings, corporate events, fund raisers and club gigs. We can perform both a quiet cocktail hour set of instrumental jazz as well as several hours of Classic Rock, R&B, Soul and Funk with a handful of contemporary tunes thrown in for good measure.
