Madra Rua was absolutely perfect - they handled all requests with ease and everyone enjoyed listening to the band perform. They were so friendly and accommodating, we could not have imagined a better band or group to play at our wedding!

We really and truly enjoyed Madra Rua at our St. Patrick's Day Dinner/ Dance. They were so friendly and easy going and got the crowd into it. They even got people up dancing which was fantastic. I would highly recommend them and will look to hiring them again.

Madra Rua was fantastic to work with. I had not had the pleasure of planning an event in Boston yet, and I spent a great amount of time researching Irish bands. I found their website to be extremely helpful and gave a true flavor of their talent. Ken was great to work with. He was quick to respond, answer questions, and fill out all necessary paperwork required for our University to hire them for the event. Would definitely recommend them to others!

Madra Rua did a fantastic job performing at my father's surprise birthday party! The were patient and understanding when we had to wait longer than expected for the guest of honor to arrive. Their music was perfect for the event, and they did a great job of reading the crowd and keeping the energy going. I would definitely recommend them!

My review
We hired Madre Rua for our Family Reunion/Birthday on August 11th.
Ken from the group was professional and wonderful and responded promptly with my requests and questions.
They were terrific. Great fun and festive music and great singing.
Ken’s wife, the lead singer was great, she worked the large crowd and had some of us dancing. She even taught me an Irish Gig!
Anyone who hires this band will not be disappointed.
I highly recommend this band Madre Rua for your event. They exceeded all of our expectations and made our Reunion/Birthday a memorable one.
We won't hesitate to hire them again.
