Winner of Gigmasters Best Award for multiple years! Paddygrass plays authentic, Irish, Bluegrass, Gospel and Sea Shanties. If you like upbeat folk songs or toe tapping grooves around the campfire, we are the band for you. Our lead singer Derek was born and raised in Ireland and toured with Riverdance for 6 years. We play festivals, corporate events, private parties and bar gigs, all year round. We are very good at getting the crowd going or providing a nice tasteful background - Whatever you need, we look forward to working with you. Depending on your budget we can be hired as a trio, quartet, or a quintet. Any of these options can include an Irish Dancer. We all play multiple instruments including banjo, harmonica, guitar, Mandolin, Bass, fiddle, hand percussion, tin whistle, ukulele and accordion. We can play acoustic or bring our own sound and lighting system depending on your venue and event.

Private Party Reviewed on June 14, 2022 From Woodstock, IL
Derek Byrne and Paddygrass:
Hi Paige I just saw this review and it made my day. We had a wonderful time too, it was such an honor to be involved in this celebration of life. Your family gave us such a warm welcome. Thanks for keeping the tradition of the "Irish Wake" alive. We loved the speeches at the beginning and the way all the guests stayed until the end of the show to listen, dance and chat. This is a gig In will remember for the rest of my life - for all the best reasons.Review by KRISTY H.
