Vanessa Fleeton, CEO of VAF Inspires Motivational Speaker from Hyattsville, MD

Vanessa A. Fleeton is a woman of purpose, first-time author, motivational speaker and entrepreneur. As President of VAF Inspires, Vanessa motivates women and men of all ages and cultures to push through the obstacles of life and pursue their God-given purpose. In Feb. 2014, her first book "Pushing Through the Pain to Pursue Your Purpose" was released. Preparing Today for the Life You Want Tomorrow is her new release. She also created VAF Apparel, a product line that spreads inspiration through phrases embellished in rhinestones. Her purpose manifested from the pain she experienced in early childhood. Born to a teenage mother and absentee father she struggled with life. As a result of her being freed by God from her tumultuous childhood and young adult lifestyle, she now has a heart to serve those with low self-esteem, abandonment issues and the shame of past mistakes. She has spoken at some of America's top organizations, churches and schools. As a Radio One, Inc. employee, Vanessa was a radio personality, board operator and promotions assistant. In Dec. 2014, she retired from the federal government because she knew there was a world beyond the cubicle. Her calling to become a full-time Author/Speaker & make a difference in the community would not let her rest. Ms. Fleeton has a Bachelor's of Science degree, Associate of Arts degree and an instructor/facilitator certificate. Spending thirteen years as a member of the Soul Factory in Forestville, MD until her spiritual journey led her to join Zion Church in Landover, MD, Vanessa lives to serve Christ. Vanessa is a native Washingtonian, but currently resides in Maryland.
