Aimée (harp) and Krisztina (flute) play together or separately for various events: weddings, dinners, cocktail hours, open houses, memorial services, graduations, or wherever you want beautiful, heavenly music! Their repertoire includes standard Classical music, as well as pop love songs, hymns, movie/TV show soundtracks, video game music, and folk songs. Aimée Raechel is a harpist based in central Maryland and has been playing weddings and other events since 2002. For extra magic, she plays with flutist Krisztina Noble! Aimée looked for and found sheet music for this song on the harp and was able to learn it in time for our meeting and wedding! HOW THE DUO STARTED In college (2008), Aimée and Krisztina formed the duo Winds Upon a String. Within months, they were featured in the highly esteemed University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Honors Recital, leading to many performing opportunities. These include UMBC President Freeman Hrabowski III's Board of Regents Dinner (2009), a luncheon held in honor of internationally acclaimed conductor Marin Alsop (2010), and the 20th anniversary celebration of Freeman Hrabowski III's UMBC presidency (2012). Aimée and Krisztina love classic flute and harp literature, as well as pushing boundaries by premiering new music or making fun arrangements of their own, which explains their extensive repertoire- from classical to pop to movie and video game soundtracks. They enjoy both traditional and unconventional performance opportunities.
