Kristen has performed professionally in the DC region for the last 20 years! She grew up in CA, received her BFA in harp performance with a minor in voice from the California Institute of the Arts, then proceeded to tour nationally with the New Christy Minstrels :-) Other famous namesshe has played with include: Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Victor Borges, Shirley Jones, etc As a vocalist, she has toured the country playing Emma Goldman in the Broadway smash Ragtime the Musical, and locally has worked at Studio Theater, Olney theater Center, Toby's Dinner theater and many others. Her voice has been described as " The voice of an angel". Kristen is noted for being one of very few harpists who can sing and play at the same time. Her Ave Maria is perfect for your wedding, her On Eagles Wings will beautifully complement a funeral, and her rendition of the Disney favorite Beauty and the Beast will delight your children.
