Kari was accomadating, prompt, thoughtful, and such a talented musician. She had every detail covered, she thought of everything down to the smallest detail. Kari was able to make our wedding everything we wanted and more! We were so honored to have her share our day with our family and friends and Kari made the experience unforgettable!

Kari is a very talented musician, but beyond that she was a pleasure to work with, and went out of her way to help us through the whole process. She was very accommodating, and truly happy for us on the day of our event. It was a joy having her with us for our special day!

Kari was absolutely fantastic. She was great to work with & gave us great suggestions. She is not only professional, but she definately has true talent. Everything about her was absolutely elegant - the music, her appearance, etc. We definately would highly recommend her to everyone!

We met Kari and were thoroughly impressed with her. She played several songs for us at our meeting. We spent a good amount of time choosing songs from her large selection. She arrived on time for our event. It was an outdoor ceremony with rain coming any time. We completed the ceremony and the rain started 2 minutes later. She was completely calm and got herself and her harp indoors quickly and set up playing without a blink. We were able to have a great variety in music during the 1.5 hours she played. Everyone complimented her on her perfomance. We highly recommend her and are completely satisfied. If another occasion arises, we will surely contact her again.

Kari was extremely professional and very talented. She added a unique and beautiful touch to our wedding ceremony. I have received several positive comments about her musicality and how beautiful her music was. She was extremely easy to work with making planning easy for me. Her website is very interactive and truly respresents her talent.
I would recommend Kari to anyone and wish we would have booked her for a longer time- possibly through the cocktail hour.
Overall- she is talented, easy to work with and added a beautiful unique touch to our wedding.

Kari did an amazing job playing during our wedding reception and cocktail hour. She arrived on time and played music we had requested and even learned a new song for us. Kari Gardner provided beautiful 1860s music for the Lincoln Reception held at Lehmann Mansion as part of the 2011 9th Annual Lake Villa Civil War Days. She was a good sport and even dressed in 1860s attire. She was punctual, professional and a delight to work with. She was also willing to explain several details about her harp to the public as they inquired about it. I had many compliments on her performance and requests for contact information.

As the bride, I didn't really get to see or hear Kari's music, with the exception of my ceremony entrance and a song during our unity candle ceremony. However, many guests and my parents were super impressed! Considering I never gave her any direction on the day-of, she arrived early, set-up, and provided beautiful music as guests arrived. During cocktail hour she smoothly transitioned inside, which I never had to worry about as by the time I arrived back on-site for the reception entrance the DJ had already taken over and Kari was gone! She was all I wanted from a musician, a quiet presence adding lovely music to the background of a ceremony as a pretty enhancement.
