Jessica Meltz Harpist from Black Mountain, NC

Jessica Meltz, a Louisiana native, began taking harp lessons after her high school graduation. Eighteen months later she was accepted into the harp program at Louisiana State University and awarded a four year scholarship for her studies. Finishing in three and a half years, Jessica graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors in Music and a Minor in German. Jessica has most recently performed with the Meridian Symphony, USM Symphony and the Blue Ridge Orchestra. She currently plays throughout the Asheville area providing music for a wide variety of events including high teas, weddings, bridal showers, parties and funerals. Her available repertoire is extensive and she can accommodate special requests if given advance notice.
