Jennifer Ruggieri, harpist Harpist from Chicago, IL

Jennifer Ruggieri is a prominent freelance harpist serving the Chicago area and surrounding suburbs. In 2010, she received her Master's degree in Harp Performance from Chicago College of the Performing Arts under the tutelage of Chicago Symphony Principal Harpist, Sarah Bullen and received her Bachelor's degree in Harp Performance and the prestigious Performer's Certificate in 2007 from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. In 2010 she performed Ginastera's Harp Concerto at Chicago's Symphony Center as winner of Chicago College of the Performing Arts Concerto Competition. Since relocating to Chicago she has had the opportunity to perform with many orchestras in the Greater Chicago area along with several orchestras outside of Illinois including the Wisconsin Philharmonic, LaCrosse Symphony Orchestra, and New World Symphony in Miami, FL. She can frequently be heard at the Grand Hotel summer resort on Mackinac Island, MI, at the Drake Hotel in Chicago, and in the orchestra pit of Chicago's Mercury Theater. Jennifer is a highly experienced professional and can cater her constantly growing repertoire of varied music for any event ranging from weddings and baby showers to corporate events and holiday parties.
