Heidi Hughes Harpist from Mission Viejo, CA

Professional Harpist Heidi Hughes recently relocated to Southern California. Before this, she studied under Professor ShruDeli Ownby at the University of Utah starting at the age of 14. Heidi has played at hundreds of weddings and events all over the world. Some of her favorites include playing at the grand opening of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, playing in two World Harp Congresses: in Washington State and Prague Czech Republic. She also performed in Santiago Chile for several months and speaks and sings fluent Spanish. Heidi graduated from the University of Utah with a graduate of Arts degree and has done many additional conferences and workshops in harp technique and performance. Heidi has taught harp students for the past fifteen years, performed professionally for weddings, special events, and even hospice companies as a Harp Therapist. Recently she was asked to play at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington D.C. People are amazed at not only her skills, but how she puts her heart in her playing. Heidi also has a lovely singing voice.
