Bridget Highet Harpist from New Smyrna Beach, FL

Bridget Highet is an award winning traditional Irish and Contemporary harp player who has been playing and teaching professionally with over 15 years of experience. Her music brings elegance to events ranging from weddings, parties, fundraisers, and holiday events. Bridget has competed internationally and won awards for both Irish and Scottish traditional music, and also has a classical and modern repertoire, which is flexible to client requests. Bridget's experience includes performances at the New Jersey Performing Art Center, the Washington and Philadelphia Irish Festivals, and she has placed 1st on multiple occasions at the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh Cheoil, as well as placing 3rd place in the All-Ireland Harp Competition. Bridget lives in New Smyrna with her family, 3 year old son, and dog Brownie. When she is not playing music, she works as an emergency medicine physician. She loves to perform, and is looking for warmhearted clients to share her music with.
