All types of music can be played on the harp and it sounds absolutely wonderful and special for a wedding! Harp Angel is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountinas, and is the resident harpist for the Banff Springs hotel & the Chateau Lake Louise & at other venues in the Banff, Canada area for many years now, and if you need a recommendation, please feel free to ask any of the wedding coordinators at the Hotels. The fee for the Harp Angel harpist for a wedding ceremony includes: - moving my gold harp, -taxes, -travel -prelude music, that is music that I play before the bride arrives as all your guests arrive early ( everyone arrives early for a wedding because everyone wants to arrive before the bride does!! )This prelude lasts about 30 minutes before the scheduled wedding start time. -all your processional music -any special music you would like -signing music -recessional music -postlude music, that is about 10 minutes of music at the conclusion of the ceremony, after the bridal party as "walked back down the aisle" , the music is for your guests as they all get up from the places/seats and follow the bride & groom - a consultation to select music -a complimentary harp CD you can take with you as a souvenir of your day, and as something you can use on your video if you wish. All in all, the ceremony for me takes at least one hour as I start early and am usually one of the first persons at the wedding site and one of the last to leave, in order to make sure the music runs smoothly. Also, if the bride is late for whatever reason, there is no extra charge. The fee is the minimum fee & all inclusive. If you would like music for the ceremony & reception, I can provide a special rate and package that will work for your itinerary.
