Chelsea Carlson Harpist from Chagrin Falls, OH

A harpist is a great way to add a special touch to your event. No other instrument sparks conversation and curiosity quite like a harp. I am a harpist with over 20 years of performing experience. While my specialization is classical music, I am happy to accommodate special requests in jazz and pop. Collaboration with other musicians also welcome. I completed a Performer's Diploma at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in 2015, and served as an Associate Instructor of Harp at IU. I have extensive experience playing in classical music ensembles and as a solo performer, in addition to weddings, funerals/memorial services, cocktail parties, and other events. Among my accomplishments are representing the United States at the World Harp Congress, touring in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia as a concerto soloist, and performing on "From the Top," a national radio program featuring talented young musicians. I was also a harpist in the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra for its premiere season, which included critically-acclaimed performances in Boston's Symphony Hall.
