If you are looking for a harpist, Catie is the harpist for you. She was incredibly kind, prepared, caring, and professional throughout the whole process, tailoring her suggestions to our tastes and vision, as well as talking with us over the phone and emailing us in a timely manner. She is also very talented, having a wide repertoire of songs/styles, and she even played an arrangement of Amazing Grace for voice and harp for our garden ceremony! She also played at our cocktail hour, setting the right atmosphere for guests to talk while enjoying soothing harp music in the background. We were very pleased with Catie and will hire her again for our next harp event!

Well the certified check was in my purse. I was the last to arrive at the church and she theatened not to play. She made a scene...upset everyone...and it was in the back of the church.

I apologize if there was confusion regarding the terms of the contract. I do require full payment before I am able to play on the day of the event. As there is so much to do and so many people to greet, the final payment can be easily forgotten and this is how I support my family. I recommend having a relative who is not in the wedding party have a check at the ceremony if final payment is made the day of, as I generally begin playing 30 minutes prior to the start of the event, while the bridal party is still preparing. Again, I deeply apologize if there was confusion but I hope you still enjoyed the ceremony.

Catie was amazing at our wedding this weekend! She played absolutely beautifully, and switched to different songs for our bridal party to walk down to seemlessly. She even learned a whole new song just for us to use as our processional!

Katie was lovely to work with and although, as at the bride, I did not get to enjoy all of her performing before the ceremony or during cocktail hour when I was away doing photos, I heard from other guests how lovely it all was. She has a wide repertoire and knew most of the classical pieces I requested but, more importantly, she was open to leaning new things to suit us. She quickly sent me a sound sample of the new piece and took on my requests for speed. She was a particular star in learning a slow waltz to play as her last song which we wanted to segue with the DJ into a faster more swing version of the same song. Her versatility made all that possible. 5 stars!
