Harpist Lin Umstead is awesome. We’d recommend her services to anyone. We wanted live music for my Mother’s funeral, which was attended by over 50. Lin played beautifully during the visitation, accompanied us on two hymns during the service, and played in the background as we left for the burial. We had considered a violinist but were concerned they might overpower those wanting to speak and console each other. We took a chance on Lin and her harp “Wilhelmina” and we are so happy we did. Everyone was pleased and many asked about Lin during the evening Repast. Lin’s performance made the day extra special. My Mother would have been pleased. Bravissima Lin!

On time, asked if we had requests, was music sound too loud, asked if we were happy with her selections and we were. Was interested if people were enjoying her music and they were, when she completed here date if we needed her longer she could stay.. always had a smile .. I would ask for her any time.. she also dressed so nicely it was a pleasure to have here there.. Thank you Merle

I booked a harpist, Linda Umstead for my son's wedding ceremony on 11/11/23. I wanted to go with a different musical instrument, than your more traditional, such as violin, guitar, etc. I'm so happy I chose a harpist. I listened to her online videos, which sounded beautiful. In person, her music was even more beautiful. She was very friendly and professional. Do not hesitate to book her for any occasion. I promise you will not regret it! Thanks again, Linda!

Linda was absolutely incredible! Not only is she a great musician, she is also extremely flexible and professional. She learned the theme to Jurassic Park and Married Life from UP to play at my wedding. She has a wonderful selection of songs she already has memorized but she was willing to learn something new just for us. She also was able to add music in between transitions in the ceremony without a rehearsal. I would suggest to anyone looking for a great harpist to work with Linda Umstead!

Linda is not only extremely talented as a harpist , but has such a genuine and kind soul. She is very professional and communicated efficiently with me throughout the process leading up to my wedding day. She was able to play all my requested songs and learned those that she was unfamiliar with. Her willingness to work and communicate with my vocalist to do a beautiful duet was impressive and made for a perfect wedding ceremony.
