About Vendor
Learn more about this vendor for your event.
You have come to the right place for a stroll through the golden age of modern popular music! Great for Birthday and Anniversary parties!! My fun and friendly sets will take you and your guests through the pop Jukebox classics from the 1940's through early 70's: Ellington, Sinatra, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Everly Bros., Johnny Cash, the Drifters, Elvis, Beatles, The Eagles, and more. I perform either "instrumental only” format, or guitar with vocals for a more upbeat vibe. Whether you need music for your wedding, a company or business event, a family picnic, or your restaurant, winery, or brewery, this music is sure to fit the bill. I can play instrumental only selections (without vocals) for weddings, dinners, or formal business events. For more upbeat events, birthdays, anniversary parties, picnics, and restaurants and pubs, I spice up a similar repertoire with vocals that will surely have you singing along! Also offering Duos, Trios or a full band! For larger events or you want a bigger more danceable sound, please ask about ensemble options. I have almost 20 years experience with a steady stable of bandmates )bass, drums, sax, fiddle, second guitar, etc.) to get the right sound for your event! Please take a look at some the recommendations from past clients to get a good sense of the professionalism I bring to each event. I have done hundreds of gigs in the VA/DC area over the past 13 years, and have played public and private gigs at venues such as The Kennedy Center, Twins Jazz, Laporta's Restaurant and Lounge, Smithsonian Museum, Tin Whistle Irish Pub, as well as many wineries, breweries, weddings etc. I also have extensive experience and referrals from retirement villages, assisted living homes, and nursing and rehab centers. Call or email for more details about these shows. If you would like to hear me in person, I play most Wednesday and Friday nights from 6-9pm in The Mill Room at Boar's Head Inn, 200 Ednam Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Note that the Mill Room gig is instrumentals only, no vocals. I also occasionally play a local winery or brewery also... my schedule is at https://www.stanhamrick.com/calendar. There are also additional audio samples at www.stanhamrick.com. If you want to chat by phone let me know a good time to call. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to proceed with booking!
