We perform an amazing variety of live music for wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, cocktail hours, birthday parties, corporate events, anniversaries, intimate dinners, dance functions, life celebrations and much more. We are based in San Diego, Ca but have traveled all over the world to perform our music for crowds both big and small. Alex Guillen is an acoustic guitarist/composer & arranger with almost 20 years of professional playing experience. Born and raised in San Diego, Alex's dad first showed him how to play his first bolero on the guitar when he was 12 years old. Ever since then, Alex has been hooked on the beautiful Spanish Sound! As a trained classical musician, Alex is comfortable playing many different styles of music ranging from Classical & Flamenco to Latin Jazz & World Music. When performing his original music compositions have been described as having "exciting guitar passages coupled with enchanting melodies that creates a sound that lingers in the listener's ear long after the performance is over." SONG REQUESTS: As prolific arranger, Alex is able to play any of your favorite songs of your choice for your event. Some song may not be the best match for a guitar arrangement, but Alex has learned hundreds of songs for past clients and has over 7+ hours of music repertoire so chances are he will be able to play your favorites! He can also add other musicians to his lineup depending on your needs.
