The Yancey Brothers are group of men dedicated to spreading the word in song and have done so for 55 years. They started out with 5 brothers and as the years went by and they had families of their own ,their children went on to join them in their quest to spread the word. Even the daughters of the brothers formed a quartet of their own. They have traveled for many years to many churches, festivals, and personal event leaving their mark in the world as some hard fighting soldiers on the battlefield. The Yancey Brothers also are recording artist with 7 recorded albums and have had many songs playing on the radio throughout the country. They continue to travel throughout the eastern seaboard and always look forward to fellowshiping in new places. Although some members have gone on to be with the lord they continue travel and worship. The group now consists of 2 of the 5 brothers left Joe, and James, sons Dwight and Daryl and one grandson David. This group knows about the phrase "A Family That Prays together Stays Together" having done so for over 50 years.
