PK and the Mighty Seven is a 9-piece band playing only the best funk, soul, R&B, Motown, and pop from the 1960's to present. The band features female and male lead vocalists and a three-piece horn section - a big sound for a big party that gets everyone out on the dance floor! We'll provide a full professional sound system and audio engineer so you don't have to worry about the music sounding great at your wedding. In addition to our full 9-piece band, we offer live music for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. We'll also learn special song requests for your wedding. We're based out of Boston MA and are available for your wedding in the New England area, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, and Vermont. We are SO grateful we chose PK & The Mighty 7 to play at our wedding! They were the highlight of everyone's night! In the months before the wedding, they were extremely prompt and helpful in our email correspondence. On the day of, they arrived early and they have their set-up process down to a science. All the musical transitions were seamless from their recorded playlist, to live music-everything flowed beautifully. On top of giving us a stress-free evening, they put on an AMAZING show!! They are an incredibly talented group that has clear chemistry with one another. They looked like they were having fun, which lead us to have fun! I would HIGHLY recommend them!!

We hired PK & the Mighty 7 knowing we wanted a large funk band to play our wedding & we were blown away. This band is super talented, plays a variety of the best dance music from Stevie Wonder, Prince, MJ, Bruno Mars, & took the time to learn 3 folk songs that were pretty outside of their wheelhouse which we requested. They handled all MC duties & dealt with last minute changes in the schedule due to a kitchen mishap with professionalism and expertise. We loved this band, & our guests have been raving about them ever since that night. At one point in the night I saw a friend yelling at them on stage, "You are not a wedding band!!" & it was perfectly appropriate.
