AbSOULute is a 10-piece band that plays classic dance hits from artists like Earth Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin, The Isley Brothers, Sly & the Family Stone, Chicago, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Rufus with Chaka Khan, Tower of Power, Bruce Springsteen, The Temptations, Billy Preston, Blood Sweat and Tears and many others. Our goal is to get people up and dancing to well-known, long-loved classic r&b, funk and rock songs. AbSOULute features both male and female lead vocalists, a dynamic, 3-piece horn section, a percussionist, guitar, bass, keyboards and drums. The band has been playing all over southern California since 2017 and has played extensively at large civic events and private parties from Ventura to Newport Beach.
