Hello, My name is Martin Metzger, and I am one of the most experienced and versatile guitarists in the Chicagoland area. I perform regularly for weddings, corporate events, house parties, restaurants, festivals, benefits, schools and other events. My playing style is both warm and expressive, creating an ambience that delights and enlightens. My repertoire ranges from Spanish Guitar, Flamenco, Flamenco Jazz, Rumbas, Brazilian Jazz, Latin Jazz, Classical to selective Pop Classics and Standards. I have been performing for over 40 years, and have played for over 5,000 clients, with rave reviews. In addition to performing solo, I often perform with a second guitarist, and/or a singer, a dancer and a percussionist. You may hire as many, or as few of us as you wish. We would be delighted to learn a couple pieces that help make your event extra special! In addition to my solo performances, I book over 75 of the most premier, experienced musicians in Chicago. We have soloists, duos, trios, and full ensembles, in many different genres. My connections, which took a lifetime of performing, will be at your disposal.
