Jim Kelley has been playing the fiddle for over 40 years. He is known throughout North East Ohio as one of the most versatile fiddle players in the region. Jim is also a fine vocalist with song styles including Country and Western, Swing Standards, '50's Rock and Roll. Jim plays a variety of Fiddle styles of tunes including Irish, Bluegrass, Traditional American, Cajun, Mariachi, and Swing/Jazz, Hulas and Classic Country on the Hawaiian Lap Steel Guitar! Jim has a very large repertoire of each style of music and will compliment any kind of event and gathering. For over 40 years, he has played with various ensembles onstage at clubs, music festivals; and at weddings, private parties and corporate events. In 2005, Jim reinvented himself and created STRING FEVER: An interactive music program for active seniors, assisted living groups, and audiences with a variety of special needs. Jim uses the professional Bose L-1 PA system for a quality, professional-sounding presentation. He uses PROFESSIONALLY RECORDED back round tracks for each song for a full sounding program. Jim takes up a rather small space and is "self-contained"...All he needs is a plug! STRING FEVER is a fun and lively program that will leave your audience happy and energized!
