Welcome to Tamariel Paints My name is Tamar, and I am the owner and main artist. Not only do I love sharing art, but I also have a master's degree in child development and an early intervention credential from the state of Illinois. I started Tamariel Paints in 2005 after spending an incredible summer face painting at a camp for children with cancer and I'm proud to offer face painting, henna, airbrush, balloon twisting, characters, canvas parties and more! Tamariel Paints is proud to add our special touch of creativity make your occasion even more memorable! We know that when we come to your event we are not just providing a service, we are offering your event guests a chance to be thoroughly entertained, and we are creating memories for the future. Not only do kids of all ages love being painted, but those standing in line are treated to watching an artist at work. When it comes to slinging henna, we can either talk about the long standing traditions surrounding henna (and we are knowledgeable on a variety of different cultures!) talk about current henna trends, or simply answer event guests questions! Tamariel Paints uses only professional-grade products (aka cosmetic grade, FDA compliant makeup and polyester glitters) to provide professional-grade sparkle (aka lots of fun) to your event. We want you and your child to look good during the party, but by bedtime, the face paint needs to come off! So, all of our washes off EASILY with soap and water. We make our own henna paste using Body Art Quality henna, purchased from reputable suppliers. We NEVER EVER EVER use dangerous "Black Henna". Our henna paste is ALL NATURAL, vegan, and handmade in small batches! Tamariel Paints are fully insured through Body Art Insurance.
